Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Acting Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, announced the completion of postgraduate examinations for master’s and diploma programs, and achieved an average overall success rate of 95.3%.
Prof. Ahmed Al-Shawki, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, added that the results of the master’s programs were as follows: (Division of Ancient Egyptian Antiquities, Greek and Roman Antiquities, Archeology and Excavation Sciences, and Islamic Antiquities, 100% - Master’s Division, Management of Museums and Archaeological Sites, 96.1%).
The success rates in the first level diplomas were: (Department of Archeology and Excavation Sciences, 100% - Department of Museums and Archaeological Sites Management, 86.6% - Department of Ancient Egyptian Antiquities, 85.7%). The success rates in the second level diplomas were: (Departments of Ancient Egyptian Antiquities and Museums Management, and archaeological sites by 100% - Department of Archeology and Excavations by 80%).
Dr. Sawsan Issa, Head of Graduate Studies Control, stated that the results were monitored and announced electronically on January 22, 2024 within the framework of the digital transformation followed by Ain Shams University through the electronic control program prepared by experts from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences within the University Management System (UMS).
