Martyr Ahmed Shawky Hospital received a delegation from Burkina Faso to enhance health care for the elderly and establish an advanced medical center in their country, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors.
The delegation was received by Prof. Hala Suwaid, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals and Prof. Essam Fakhry, Deputy Executive Director of Hospitals.
The visit aims to benefit from their experience and understand the services provided and how they are provided to elderly patients. The delegation examined and evaluated the possibilities for comprehensive training in the various specialties of Al-Demirdash Hospital, as the delegation wishes to establish a medical center for elderly care in their country.
As part of this visit, the delegation toured a comprehensive tour inside the Hospital for the Elderly, accompanied by Dr. Radwa Magdy, Deputy Director of the Hospital for the Elderly
This meeting is considered an opportunity to exchange experiences and develop joint plans to improve the quality of health services provided to elderly patients.
