The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University (ASU-iHub) launched the winter training camp under the title “Sustainable Innovation and Industry 4.0”, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Adel Al-Sabbagh, Director General of the Innovation Center, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Student Activities, ASU-iClub.
The winter training camp is one of the activities of the ISI4Egypt program, which is a three-year program between the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Technical University of Berlin.
The camp covers a set of exercises such as the basics of design thinking - introduction to the industry in the fourth generation 0.4 - sustainability - basics of marketing and finance - the initial business model.
The camp targeted Ain Shams University graduates between 2020 and 2023 and final year students. At the end of the camp, each team will present a real problem and the proposed solution to address it.
