An applied working paper on the Faculty of Education’s experience in digital transformation during the Future of Educational Systems and Digitization conference

During the twenty-eighth annual scientific conference of the Egyptian Society for Comparative Education and Educational Administration, which was held under the title: “The Future of Educational Systems and Digitization,” a research team participated with a distinguished applied working paper led by Prof. Safaa Shehata, Dean of the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University.

The work team included: Prof. Hani Youssef, Director of the E-Learning and Information Technology Unit, Dr. Magdy Shaaban, Director of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, Dr. Mai Saleh, Director of the Academic Advising Unit, Dr. Abdul Rahman Naji, Deputy Director of the Academic Advising Unit and Responsible for the Graduation Project, Dr. Noha Hosni, from the Sustainable Professional Development Unit for Human Resources, Dr. Nermin Nataei, Chairman of the Schedule Preparation Committee and Coordinator of the Information and Communication Technologies Course, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hafeez, Director of the Crisis Management Unit, Dr. Samar Rajab, Director of the Special Needs Support Unit, Mrs. Heba Samir, course coordinator, Basics of Adult Education and Literacy.

The working paper was entitled: “Teacher preparation policies in light of developments in digital transformation between reality and aspiration - Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, a case study.”

The paper discussed the pioneering experience of the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, in achieving digital transformation in all educational, research, and administrative services provided by the faculty. The research paper was divided into three sections, and the attendees praised the success of the faculty’s experience in digital transformation.
