This morning, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, opened Faculty of Pharmacy Council meeting, in the presence of Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Khaled Abu Shanab, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Rola Milad, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Abdel Nasser Sinjab, Prof. Nahed Mortada, former dean of the Faculty, Prof. Omaima Sammour, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady and a group of faculty staff and professors at the Faculty.
In his speech, Prof. Mohamed Diaa praised the efforts exerted by the college and the achievements it has achieved and their impact on the labor market, wishing the faculty more success and expressing his pride in what the faculty has achieved with distinguished leadership and tireless effort headed by Prof. Amani Kamel also stressed the importance of the role of civil society institutions in obtaining tangible results in the field of scientific research and industry.
Prof. Amani Kamel welcomed the President of the University and extended her thanks and appreciation to His Excellency for his efforts and constant support for the faculty.
Some issues related to developing the faculty and providing distinguished services to students enrolled were also discussed.
In addition to the faculty’s international accreditation and the possibility of linking with various partnerships to benefit from marketing scientific plans and graduating medical personnel capable of facing the labor market, as well as discussing some amendments to the practice of the profession listed in the laws.
On the sidelines of the council, Prof. Mai Tolba and Prof. Ghada Hussein for obtaining the degree of Professor and Prof. Asst. Muhammad Hassan for obtaining the degree of Assistant Professor.
