The President of Ain Shams University inspects the university's pavilion at the 14th session of the International Forum and Exhibition for Higher Education and Training EduGate

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, inspected the university’s pavilion at the EduGate International Forum and Exhibition for Higher Education and Training, which is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, from February 25-27, at a hotel in Greater Cairo, in the presence of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Najwa Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Prof. Mona Abdel-Al, Director of the University’s Education Development Department, Mr. Muhammad Al-Jamal, Head of the Central Administration of the University President Sector, Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Reham Al-Otaifi, Director General of the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa confirmed that Ain Shams University’s annual participation in the exhibition confirms its keenness to demonstrate its keeping pace with the latest educational systems and programs that are consistent with international standards in various disciplines, as Edugate is considered one of the most important events in the field of education and training as it brings together many universities, faculties and educational institutes. , in addition to educational and training service providers, students, and those interested in the field of education and training, to exchange experiences and knowledge, and explore the latest developments and innovations in this field, which contributes to enhancing the quality of education and developing the educational sector at the local and international levels.

Also, through its participation in Edugate, Ain Shams University is keen to enrich the educational experience of secondary school students, provide them with the necessary support, help them determine the directions of their educational future at the first university level, and make them aware of the promising opportunities offered through the university’s various programs in various fields and specializations related to the local, regional, and international labor market.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa explained that the Ain Shams University pavilion, over the course of its three days, offers a distinguished package of new programs in the international Credit Hours System, numbering more than (71) programs, in addition to graduate programs, language programs, and programs and services directed to students of determination.

         
   
         

He added that the distinguished package of new programs with the international credit hour system in various fields and specializations (medical programs - engineering and information technology programs - commercial programs - language and translation programs - scientific programs... etc.) keeps pace with international standards and the requirements of the local, regional and international labor market. It is distinguished by providing high-quality education in atypical specializations and a modern study system to target a distinguished graduate. These programs represent a model in education that mainly follows the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, and they serve as the nucleus of a unique model for developing the educational process and financial resources in universities.

These new specializations in the distinguished programs provide students with a unique educational experience that combines academic content, training, and application, in addition to obtaining two certificates, one from Ain Shams University, and the other from foreign international universities in a number of specializations.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa pointed out that the university has a distinguished package of international partnerships with many universities around the world, perhaps the most prominent of which are Clausthal University in Germany, the University of East London in England, the University of Calabria in Italy, and GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL - UNITED KINGDOM and ROYAL HOSPITAL.

It is noteworthy that the American Ambassador to Cairo, Mrs. Hero Mustafa Garg, Prof. Ali Shams El-Din, former President of Banha University, and Chairman of the EduGate Forum, inspected the Ain Shams University pavilion at the International Universities Exhibition.
