The Faculty of Arts hosts the Philosophy, Sociology, and Anthropology Meeting Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture

The Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University hosted the Philosophy, Sociology and Anthropology Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector, Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, where the committee meeting was held in the conference hall of the Faculty of Arts, headed by the committee’s rapporteur, Prof. Mustafa El Nashar and members of the esteemed committee. On the sidelines of the meeting, the committee held a symposium on soft power and its impact on the structure of society.

     
 
     

The symposium was moderated by Prof. Mustafa Al-Nashar, Professor of Philosophy, at the Faculty of Arts, at Cairo University, and Rapporteur of the Committee, Prof. Hussein Ali, Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Faculty of Arts.

And the speakers: Prof. Amal Mabrouk Abdel Halim, Professor of Modern and Contemporary Philosophy and Chairman of the Council of the Department of Philosophical Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, and Committee Member, Prof. Hussein Ali Hassan, Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, Prof. Suhair Abdel Salam Hanafi, Professor of Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts, Helwan University, Member of the Senate and Member of Committee, and Prof. Shadia Qenawi, Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University.

Where Prof. Shadia Qenawy presented a paper entitled Cultural Diplomacy as a Soft Power to Strengthen Egyptian International Relations, and Prof. Suhair Abdel Salam presented a paper entitled Soft Power between Culture and Politics.

Where Prof. Amal Mabrouk presented a paper entitled Soft Power and Its Various Tools.

Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and the deputies hosted members of the esteemed committee. Her Excellency praised the choice of the symposium topic and its importance, and asked the committee members to hold more workshops and seminars on these vital and important topics.
