Within the framework of the celebrations of International Women’s Day, the General Authority for Cultural Palaces held, under the patronage of Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, in the presence of Mr. Amr Al-Basiouni, Chairman of the Authority, and in the presence of the Authority’s leaders and a large number of intellectuals and media professionals, a large celebration to honor Egyptian women for their prominent role in society.
The honor came in the scientific field to female faculty staff from the university: Prof. Manal Omar, Professor and Head of the Psychiatry Unit at the Center for the Care of Children with Special Needs at Ain Shams University, Prof. Suhair Safwat, Professor of Social Theory at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Heba Salah Hamed, Professor at the Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University, as one of the most influential female figures in Egyptian society for the year 2023-2024.
The university's awards office emphasized the university's effective role in motivating faculty staff to excel, compete, and obtain awards and honors in all fields in order to achieve the university's pioneering and societal role.
