Within the framework of the cooperation protocol concluded between the Faculty of Law and the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, the Honorable Counselor Hafez Abbas, Chairman of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, and Prof. Muhammad Safi, Dean of the Faculty, the Authority received a delegation of faculty students accompanied by Prof. Omar Ramadan, Lecturer of criminal law and director of the training court at the faculty, as part of introducing students to the mission of the Administrative Prosecution in combating corruption.
At the beginning of the visit, the delegation listened to an introductory lecture on the establishment of the Administrative Prosecution as a judicial body within the Egyptian justice system, the organizational structure of the Administrative Prosecution and its important role in combating financial and administrative corruption, with a review of the most prominent cases investigated by the Administrative Prosecution, this was followed by an inspection tour of the Authority’s headquarters building, during which the delegation met with a number of advisors to the central departments and specialized units, during which they listened to the nature of the work of those departments and units.
The meeting concluded with a memorial photo of the delegation with His Excellency the Honorable Counselor Hafez Abbas, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
