The closing of the activities of the eleventh session of the training program for university administration and leadership qualifying for the position of dean of a faculty or institute in Egyptian universities

The activities of the eleventh session of the training program (University Administration and Leadership), which was organized by the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University, were concluded during the period from March 17-19, 2024, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of the University, and under the supervision and presence of Prof. Neven Assem, head of the Innovation and training sector at the university.

The program is the qualification for the position of dean of a college/institute in Egyptian universities, and aims to refine leadership and administrative skills, legal aspects of university work, financial aspects, self-resource development, diplomatic leadership, ceremonies, and protocol, in addition to developing leadership skills, motivation and self-management, strategic planning, institutional development and management systems. The training was conducted by a distinguished elite of trainers specialized in this field, namely: Prof. Mohamed Safi (Professor of International Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law, winner of the State Incentive Award and the Ain Shams University Award for Excellent Research), Prof. Rasha Sharaf (Professor of Comparative Education and the Educational Administration at Helwan University and former Vice President of the Egyptian National E-Learning University for Education and Student Affairs - Cultural Attaché of the Arab Republic of Egypt in London, England previously), Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz (Dean of the Higher Institute for Cooperative and Administrative Studies), Prof. Hossam El-Din Mustafa El-Sherif (Deputy of the Leadership Development Institute at the Ministry of Higher Education - a certified international trainer in the Presidential Program and the Supreme Council of Universities).

The trainees praised the importance of this training program to hone the administrative and leadership skills necessary to fill the position of dean of a college/institute in Egyptian universities.

The program was implemented in the equipped halls at the headquarters of the Training and Development Center in the Innovation and Training Sector in the University City.
