The Vice President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, holds the regular meeting of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University, held the session of the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs for the month of April, in the presence of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Prof. Yasser Mujahid, Director of the Engineering Consultation Center at the University, and the Vice Deans of the faculties for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

At the beginning of the session, Her Excellency congratulated the new members of the community service and environmental development sector.

Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University, moderated the session, discussed the agenda, and presented the decisions of the Supreme Council for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the 3/20/2024 session, and reviewed the efforts of the Alliance of Regions in launching several comprehensive development convoys for the area’s most in need. The Alliance includes the universities of “Ain Shams, Cairo, and Helwan.” Al-Azhar and Banha,” noting her sovereignty to several anticipated activities and events.

The Vice Deans also reviewed the activities and events that took place inside and outside their colleges.

During the session, reports were presented about the convoys that were organized for various villages in the governorate as part of the Decent Life Initiative, as well as activities related to community service within the colleges, activities of the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit, and workshops and seminars that took place in some colleges.

As confirmed by Prof. Ghada Farouk for her commitment to implementing the agenda set for the sector plan and the cooperation of all faculties.
