The workshops to develop technical and scouting skills for Ain Shams University scouts within the training program for scouting and public service department

Under the patronage of Prof. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University. The University’s Scouting and Public Service Department organized technical and scouting skills development workshops for the scouts of the university’s faculties in the period from the twenty-eighth to the thirtieth of this April, at the university’s permanent scout camp in the Faculty of Agriculture.

The program included training in handicrafts within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (micro and small enterprises), such as macramé, beads, arkette, crochet, and string art, as well as training in outdoor scouting workshops to develop creative skills among young people.

A number of 60 male and female scouts from the university’s faculties of (Agriculture, Business, Arts, Sciences, Law, Specific Education, Al-Alsun, Education, Nursing), participated.
