Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the university, represented by the Department of Artistic Activity and the Supreme Artistic Committee of the University Student Union, participated in the activities of the 21st Artistic Forum for Egyptian Universities at South Valley University under the slogan “Together to Revive Arabic Music,” which was held during the period from the ninth From the tenth to the twenty-fourth of last April, the university participated with the music and choir teams led by Maestro Mahmoud Sami Ahmed.
The two teams presented a dazzling concert in the presence of a large number of students from South Valley University and the participating universities, and in the presence of Prof. Badawy El-Shahat, Vice President of South Valley University for Education and Student Affairs, who expressed his welcome to the music and choir teams and requested the participation of Ain Shams University teams in the closing ceremony of the forum, which was held in the day after the special ceremony was held at Ain Shams University.
It is worth noting that the music and choral teams of Ain Shams University are the only two teams that participated in the closing ceremony with the host university, which is South Valley University. The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, who handed over the shield of participation in the forum and certificates of appreciation to Mr. Mustafa Issa. Director of the Technical Activity Department at the General Administration of Youth Welfare and Student Ziad Siddiq, Secretary of the Supreme Technical Committee of the University Students Union.
