Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Acting Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, directed the deans and vice deans of the faculties for postgraduate studies and research affairs to quickly take measures to implement the decision of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of the University, to exempt postgraduate disabled students at the University holders of the Integrated Services Card receive 25% of the tuition fees for the academic year 2024/2025.
The Vice President of Ain Shams University confirmed that the decision comes within the framework of the university administration’s support for its students with disabilities, in line with the Egyptian state’s direction towards enhancing interest in people with disabilities in light of a comprehensive vision for their integration into the university environment.
Her Excellency added that the university is working to provide all means of support for students with special needs, provide the necessary facilities within the university campus to facilitate their movement, and provide technical assistance means that enable them to continue their studies with ease and ease, in addition to providing academic and moral support to them to motivate them to integrate into the university environment and achieve their academic success and help them participate actively in building their society.
