The activities of the annual employment forum of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, were launched, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision and presence of Prof. Thanaa Al-Noubi, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Engineer Nabil Nasr, Director of the Faculty’s Employment Department.
Prof. Thanaa Al-Noubi stressed the importance of the faculty's annual employment forum for its effective contribution to developing the professional skills of students and graduates, and enabling them to obtain appropriate training and job opportunities, in line with the university’s vision to serve students and graduates and contribute to building and strengthening ties between companies, research centers, students, and graduates, to improve their professional paths and qualify them for the labor market in a professional and institutional manner, praising the skill and skills of the faculty’s students, who are the nucleus of the future of agriculture in Egypt.
She added that the employment forum also contributes to linking university studies with the labor market, in addition to supporting the university’s role as a key partner in supporting and building the national economy, in addition to being an excellent opportunity for all students to communicate effectively with companies and learn about the needs of the labor market.
It is noteworthy that the forum is sponsored by many ministries, research centers, and major investment companies. On the sidelines of the forum, an exhibition of products was opened for a number of companies, and interviews were conducted for students and the services available by those companies were presented.
The opening was attended by Prof. Mahmoud Sad, Acting Dean of the Institute of Agricultural and Biological Research, representing the National Research Center, Ms. Nanis El-Naqouri, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Initiatives at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Prof. Ghada Abdel Moneim, Vice President of the Desert Research Center, in addition to a number of faculty staff, company representatives, and students.
