Launching of rankings of Egyptian universities in the 2024 Startup Olympiad Competition

The qualifiers began among Egyptian universities in the 2024 Startup Olympiad Competition at the level of various geographical regions in Egypt.

This distinguished event witnesses the competition between various universities, institutes and research bodies as follows:

Cairo University (28 teams), Ain Shams University (18 teams), Nile National University (24 teams), Shorouk Academy (29 teams), New Cairo Technological University (11 teams), Pharos University (20 teams), Horus University (21 teams), Port Said University (11 teams), Al-Arish University (13 teams), Zagazig University (10 teams), Assiut University (27 teams), Aswan University (30 teams), New Valley University (7 teams), City of Scientific Research and Applications Technology (9 teams), Egyptian Russian University (18 teams), October University of Modern Sciences and Arts (19 teams), Alexandria University (98 teams), Delta Technological University in Quesna (13 teams), Banha University (10 teams), Galala University (26 teams), Suez University (10 teams), El Alamein International University (23 teams), Damanhour University (49 teams), Samanoud Technological University (19 teams), Tanta University (13 teams), Suez Canal University (28 teams), Menoufia University (26 teams), South Valley University (20 teams), Kafrelsheikh University (10 teams), Al-Azhar University (14 teams)

To compete for:

Obtaining one of the first positions at the university level with valuable financial prizes provided by the Fund.

Representing the university in the innovation qualifiers at the geographic region level and competing for one of the first positions at the region level with greater prizes and support.

The Startup Olympiad competition targets students and researchers at Egyptian universities, institutes, centers and research bodies, who have innovative ideas and want to develop them into a real business model and create a startup company. The advantages of participating in the program include the following:

• Financing the winning companies with 500 thousand pounds and services worth 500 thousand pounds, in addition to participating in the GenZ TV program.

• Training and guidance from experienced entrepreneurs and investors.

• Access to a network of investors and business owners.

• Highlight your team’s efforts in the media

The competition includes inspiring innovative proposals and entrepreneurial ideas that herald a promising future for entrepreneurship in Egypt.
