In the presence of the Assistant Minister of Justice for Arbitration Affairs… The Arbitration Center of the Faculty of Law organizes a scientific symposium on the occasion of the thirty years since the issuance of the Egyptian Arbitration Law

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arbitration Center of the Faculty of Law, opened this morning the in-depth scientific symposium organized by the Center on the Egyptian Arbitration Law of 1994 on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of its issuance, with the aim of Evaluating and evaluating it according to what emerged from reality and practical practices.

         
   
         

The events of the symposium took place in two sessions, the first of which was chaired by His Excellency Counselor Mustafa Al-Bahibiti, Assistant Minister of Justice for Arbitration Affairs, where Prof. Yassin Al-Shazly, Professor of Commercial Law and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Counselor Dr. Fahr Abdel Azim, President of the Economic Court of Appeal and Advisor to the Minister of Irrigation, and water resources for international dispute affairs, Prof. Ahmed Sayed Mahmoud, Professor of Civil Procedure Law at the Faculty, and Prof. Hatem Abdel Rahman, Director of the Arbitration Center of the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University, spoke.

         
     
         

The second session was chaired by Prof. Ibrahim Al-Anani, Professor and Head of the Department of Public International Law and former Dean of the Faculty, where Prof. Ahmed Sharaf El-Din, Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Law and former Director of the Center, Prof. Al-Sayyed Eid Nayel, Professor of Civil Law and former Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Sayed Ahmed Mahmoud, Professor and Head of the Civil Law Department, Director of the Center and former Dean of the Faculty, spoke.

The symposium was attended by a large number of professors from the Faculty and other universities, members of judicial bodies, members of the teaching assistants and researchers, and it witnessed valuable scientific interaction and discussions between the lecturers and attendees.
