In an enchanting vibe and an artistic night worthy of innovatos, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, presented the distinguished students for the academic year 2023-2024 during the closing festival of student activities.
The University President began his speech by welcoming the honorable presence of the deans and vice deans of the faculties and the honored male and female artists. He also welcomed the innovative students and their parents.
His Excellency praised the great efforts of a distinguished sector, which is the education and student sector, and appreciated the efforts made in organizing this wonderful festival, which embodies the richness of student activities at the prestigious Ain Shams University, and which confirms its interest in encouraging students to participate in various fields, develop their creative skills, and hone their talents, to As well as interest in their educational attainment.
As presented by Prof. Muhammad Diaa Zain El-Abedeen saluted and appreciated the distinguished students, the true wealth of Ain Shams University and the future of the dear nation, praising their distinguished achievements in various academic, sports, cultural and artistic fields, stressing his confidence in their superior abilities in raising the name of the university high and achieving more achievements in the future.
At the end of his speech, the President of Ain Shams University congratulated all the students who won the various competitions, especially the students of determination, and urged them to continue to exert more effort and perseverance, to achieve more successes and achievements.
The University President had previously directed the education sector and students to hold this festival in appreciation of the honorable performance presented by students this year in many local and international forums, including the International University Theater Festival in Casablanca, in which Ain Shams University was crowned first in the world with the theatrical show Negative Zero, as well as He won many first places in the 12 Creativity Festival, in addition to many medals in a number of sports tournaments, scientific and cultural activities, and traveling.
During the ceremony, a video recording was shown about student activities during the academic year, and an operetta entitled “The World’s Box” was presented, starring the artist Ali Helbawi, the student Judy Ashraf, and the student Louay Ali. The operetta included several singing tablets, chanting, hymns, and folk art, in addition to a dramatic performance. The operetta was designed. Under the training and leadership of the music and choir team, Maestro Mahmoud Sami, religious singing and hymns, Maestro Mahmoud Waheed, folk arts coach Ahmed Rami, vision and direction by Munadil Antar.
The concert also included a solo violin performance by student Mohamed Saeed of the song “Ya Traveler Alone” by Al-Ajyal musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
During the ceremony, several art icons in Egypt were honored, and the university president presented the Ain Shams University shield to Mr. Ashraf Zaki, head of the Syndicate of Acting Professions, the distinguished artist Mohamed Tharwat, the distinguished artist Tariq El-Desouki, the distinguished artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz, and the distinguished artist Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, from whom he received the shield. Tariq Al-Desouki, the distinguished artist Sami Maghawry, and the artist Nashwa Mustafa.
Distinguished students with disabilities who achieved advanced positions in sports activities locally and internationally were also honored, and the leader of the Students for Egypt family was honored, in addition to honoring distinguished people who received international and local awards in artistic, sports, mobile, cultural and scientific activities, as well as honoring international and outstanding students in the various colleges of the university.
Administratively, the closing festival of student activities was supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, in cooperation with Mr. Mohamed Al-Gamal, Head of the Central Administration of the University President’s Sector, and the executive supervision of Mrs. Asma Khater, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, Mr. Mustafa Essa, Director of the Technical Activity Department.
