As part of Ain Shams University's endeavor to achieve excellence in scientific research and scientific theses for young researchers, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University, Ain Shams University won three awards for the best master's and doctoral theses from the Egyptian Mathematical Society 2024.
The Awards Office at Ain Shams University announced that three distinguished scientific theses in the field of mathematics won three prestigious awards for the best master's and doctoral theses, presented by the Egyptian Mathematical Society for the year 2024. The university's researchers excelled in the fields of applied mathematics, topology, statistics and computer science, achieving this well-deserved honor.
Researcher Al-Shimaa Abdel-Basset Mohamed Abdel-Hadi from the Department of Mathematics, at the Faculty of Education, at Ain Shams University, won the Prof. Abdel-Shafi Abada Award for the Best PhD Thesis (shared) in Applied Mathematics, four of which were published in specialized international journals. Researcher Ahmed Karam Salah Shehab from the Department of Mathematics, at the Faculty of Science, at Ain Shams University, won the Prof. Ali Salem Mashhour Award for the Best Master's Thesis in Topology, two of which were published in specialized international journals.
Researcher Kholoud Sayed Kamal Abdel Ghani from the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Education also received the Prof. Bahaa El-Din Helmy Award for the Best Master's Thesis in Statistics and Computer Science, four of which were published in specialized international journals.
The university administration congratulates the winners of the university's youth for the Best Master's and Doctoral Theses Awards at the level of Egyptian universities, who confirm with their distinguished achievements the leading scientific position enjoyed by Ain Shams University, and reflect the efforts made to support scientific research and innovation.
