Ain Shams University shines in the 2023 State Awards by winning ten awards of Appreciation, Excellence, Incentive, and individual and corporate awards from the Academy of Scientific Research
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the University Awards Office extend their warmest congratulations to the winners of the State Appreciation and Incentive Awards for the year 2023 from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
The University Awards Office announced that the ten awards were won by nine professors from five different faculties, as follows: The Faculty of Pharmacy, five awards, the Faculty of Engineering, two awards, while the Faculty
of Education, the Faculty of Postgraduate Childhood Studies, and the Faculty of Science each received one award. |

The list of winners from Ain Shams University included:
Prof. Nahed Abdel Hamid El-Sayed El-Mahlawi, full-time professor of design and production engineering, who received the State Appreciation Award in the field of engineering sciences.
Prof. Khaled Abu Zeid Mohamed Abu Zeid, full-time professor of pharmaceutical chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, who received the State Excellence Award in sciences in the field of medical sciences.
Prof. Moataz Youssef Abdel Aziz Mohamed, full-time professor of electrical power and machines engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, who received the State Excellence Award in the field of engineering sciences.
Prof. Maha Nasr Sayed, Professor of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, who received the State Award for Excellence in Advanced Technological Sciences in the field of Medical Sciences, and the late Dr. Heba Khafaga Award in the field of Oncology.
Prof. Enas Mahmoud Hamed Ahmed, Professor of Media at the Department of Media and Children's Culture at the Faculty of Graduate Studies for Childhood, who received the Women's Appreciation Award in the field of Social Sciences.
Dr. Esther Tharwat Menz Younan, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Ain Shams University, who received the State Incentive Award in Science in the field of Medical Sciences.
Prof. Nadia Mohamed Hamdy Mohamed El-Hafny, Professor of Clinical Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, who received the Prof. Dr. Shawky El-Haddad Award in the field of cancer tumors.
Prof. Mohamed Saeed Attia Mustafa Jaber, Professor at the Faculty of Science, who received the late Prof. Fawzy Hussein Hammad Award in the field of materials science and technology.
Prof. Mona Mustafa Ali Mohamed Seif, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the Faculty of Education, who received the Prof. Sabry Abdel-Mottaleb Award in Basic Sciences in the field of photochemistry and solar chemistry.
The university administration extends its best congratulations to the winners of the state awards, expressing its pride in their scientific achievements that have raised the status of the university and strengthened its position as a leading institution.
