Within the framework of the state’s directives and Ain Shams University’s keenness to support student activities, and in implementation of the vision of the Education and Students Sector in enhancing and developing sports and cultural activities, the General Administration of Youth Care in the Education and Students Sector announces the start of summer activities for the academic year 2023/2024, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University.
The activities will be held on the large football field, the multi-purpose court, and the gymnasium at the university campus for students, during the months of August and September 2024, and will include a variety of sports, including futsal, volleyball, and table tennis, with the participation of male and female students. They will also include bodybuilding activities dedicated to male students only, under administrative supervision and general coordination by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Students Sector, and under the executive supervision of Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director General of the General Administration for Youth Care.
These activities aim to develop students’ sports skills and create a second line of players to represent the university in national championships. The university also seeks through them to encourage students to practice sports as part of their daily lives, which contributes to enhancing their physical and psychological health, and releasing their energies in a positive way, leading to building an aware and educated generation capable of facing the challenges of the future.
