The computer labs for electronic coordination at Ain Shams University have finished receiving high school students during the first phase of coordination, as 7,183 male and female students have arrived over the past five days. 14 labs have been allocated, all of which operate from 9:00 am every day during the coordination period until 3:00 pm, equipped with 330 computers, in the Faculties of Computers and Information and Arts inside the university campus in Abbassia, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis, and the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Pasha in Abbassia, in addition to the labs for students with disabilities in the Faculties of Arts and Computers and Information, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin, President of the University, and under the supervision of the Education and Students Sector, the General Administration of Education and Students Affairs.
Students and their families praised the university's coordination labs service and the allocation of a sufficient number of waiting places in addition to the efficiency of the administrators supervising the labs, as their students' wishes were registered easily and smoothly.
It is worth noting that it was decided to open the electronic coordination website to register wishes for the first stage starting from Monday 8/12/2024 until Friday 8/16/2024 according to the following minimum:
☆ Scientific section: 371 degrees or more, i.e. 90.48% or more of the total number of students: 23850
☆ Engineering section: 357 degrees or more, i.e. 87.07% or more of the total number of students: 15355
☆ Literary section: 280 degrees or more, i.e. 68.29% or more of the total number of students: 73995 Thus, the total number of students applying to register for the first stage is 113200
