In a new step towards supporting students with special needs at Ain Shams University and highlighting their talents, and under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, the Education and Students Sector announced the formation of the “Differently Capable” singing and music team for the academic year 2024-2025, led by Maestro Prof. Ahmed Salem, Professor at the Faculty of Specific Education.
This team comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance community integration and provide opportunities for students with special needs to participate effectively in cultural and artistic activities through the Artistic Activity Department of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, the legitimate channel for practicing student activities at the university.
The “Differently Capable” team aims to highlight students’ artistic talents and develop their skills in music and singing, in addition to enhancing their self-confidence and integrating them more fully into the university community.
Artistic events and performances will be organized throughout the academic year, with the participation of team members, giving them the opportunity to showcase their creativity to the public.
