Certified Professional Performance... Free Workshop at the Faculty of Arts

The Graduate Studies and Research Sector at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, represented by the Human Development and Self-Development Unit, organized a free workshop entitled "Accredited Professional Performance", under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Hanan Kamel Metwally, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Hatem Rabie, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, and coordinated by Dr. Islam Omara, Director of the Human Development and Self-Development Unit.

Prof. Hatem Rabie, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, opened the workshop and welcomed the attendees, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the college administration, represented by the Dean of the faculty, Prof. Hanan Kamel, for her efforts to develop the skills of students and graduates and help them in their professional lives to keep pace with the labor market. He also praised the role of Dr. Islam Amara in particular for his dedication to developing the Human Development and Self-Development Unit at the faculty. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ahmed Magdy for his efforts to raise the level of students.

         
   
         

The workshop was attended by Dr. Ahmed Magdy, Director of the Media and Photography Unit at the Faculty, and Dr. Islam Omara, Director of the Human Development and Self-Development Unit. The workshop covered a number of topics that were divided into four intensive lectures on the labor market that help students develop and improve their skills and help them achieve success in their professional lives. The topics covered how to actually succeed, the skill of selling and negotiation, removing fear in facing the public, and thinking creatively, in addition to the basic skills needed by the external labor market.

The workshop was well received by students who praised the content presented through it.
