The Education and Student Affairs Sector launches awareness campaigns for parents of students with special needs and training courses for supervisors, psychological and social specialists in dormitory university

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and within the framework of the university’s new vision that aims to enhance interest in students with special needs and healthy students alike, and coinciding with the reception of the academic year 2024/2025, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, through the Student Service Center for Students with special needs and in cooperation with the Psychological and Moral Support Committee, launches a series of awareness campaigns directed at parents of students with special needs on how to deal with their children to confront all psychological behaviors during the university phase.

Training courses will also be organised for supervisors, psychologists and specialists from the Social Research Unit in the dormitories University Sector.

These courses focus on enhancing their skills in dealing with psychological and behavioral disorders of students residing in dormitories university , whether they are people with special needs or healthy.

The activities will be held during the second half of September 2024 in the Republic Building Hall in the dormitory University for Students, under the general supervision and administrative coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Students Sector, and the technical preparation and implementation of Prof. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Student Services Center for Students with Disabilities, and Prof. Hesham Rami, Head of the Psychological and Moral Support Committee in the Student Education Sector.
