Ain Shams University starts the new academic year with a festival to welcome new and old students

The university is preparing to receive new and old students for the academic year 2024/2025, with a festival organized by the Education and Students Sector and the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the University Student Union and the Central Social Solidarity Fund, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University.

The Student Reception Festival includes many events and activities aimed at integrating students into university life and introducing them to the services and opportunities available to them.

The activities will start on Saturday, September 28, and will continue until Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the main university campus, the university dormitory playgrounds, and the Grand Celebration Hall.

The festival is scheduled to include a parade of the various university teams, raising the flag, and an introductory speech on university customs and traditions, and on student committees and their roles in supporting student activities.

Awareness campaigns will also be organized focusing on public health and environmental issues, in addition to artistic and musical shows in which the university choir will participate, in addition to a sports festival that includes traditional and electronic games, held on the university dormitory’s playgrounds.

These activities come within the framework of the university’s efforts to enhance positive interaction among students and encourage them to actively participate in student activities throughout the year.
