Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, announced that the Faculty of Medicine at the university has obtained institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, during the Authority’s Board of Directors session held on September 25, 2024.
This accreditation comes as a culmination of the Faculty of Medicine’s continuous efforts under the supervision of Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty, in developing academic programs and infrastructure and improving the learning environment, in line with the latest international standards in medical education and graduating qualified doctors capable of meeting the needs of society and the local and international labor market.
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, congratulates the Faculty of Medicine and the university family on this great achievement, which reflects the university's commitment to developing its educational system.
The university president stressed that the institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education is a testimony to the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University providing the best standards of education and scientific research, which contributes to raising the university's ranking regionally and internationally, and is also a step towards further excellence and progress in the various academic specializations offered by the university.
For his part, Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed his happiness with this achievement, noting that the faculty's obtaining institutional accreditation enhances the position of Ain Shams Medicine as one of the most prominent educational institutions in Egypt and the region.
He added that the faculty will continue to work on improving the quality of education and scientific research, and ensuring the best educational experience for its students.
