"Made in Egypt" exhibition at Ain Shams University…More than thirty Egyptian companies

Coinciding with the celebration of the glorious October victories and based on the societal role of Ain Shams University in supporting national industries, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, inaugurated the “Made in Egypt” exhibition, which is organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector under the supervision of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

         
   
         

During her tour, Prof. Ghada Farouk stressed the university administration's keenness to hold an exhibition of Egyptian products on a regular basis with the aim of creating new markets that are more widespread among young people for the Egyptian product, which is no less in quality than international products.

She referred to the presidential initiative "Ebda", which aims to support local manufacturing and increase exports, which leads to reducing imports and enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian industry in global markets, by overcoming obstacles and encouraging investments. Hence, the role of the university comes in supporting national industries and driving the economy to achieve high growth rates, which contributes to raising the standard of living of its members.

   
   

Prof. Ghada Farouk praised the diversity witnessed by the exhibition, which includes more than 30 Egyptian companies from various industrial fields, as it includes a number of companies in textiles, cosmetics, food industries, chemical industries, technology, and others.
