Tomorrow... The launch of the 11th conference of the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ali El Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals, the 11th Conference of the Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Hospital at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, will start tomorrow, Thursday, November 21, at 12 noon, in the presence of Prof. Lobna Ezz El Arab, President of the Conference, and Prof. Ali Azmy, Head of the Department of Oncology and Nuclear Medicine.

The conference will witness the participation of an elite group of professors and experts from Egyptian universities and international oncology centers, with the participation of 8 foreign experts from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and several Arab countries.

The conference activities include the opening and drawing of lots for the "Oncolympics" matches, in addition to holding a symposium that highlights the achievements and future plans of the Egyptian Health Council, and another by the Supreme Committee of University Hospitals in Ain Shams that addresses the role of university hospitals in supporting the progress and improvement of oncology treatment, in addition to a symposium dedicated to supporting healthcare providers for oncology patients.

The conference also offers five specialized workshops that discuss various topics, most notably: the role of oral medicine and surgery in head and neck tumors, clinical pharmacy, internal radiotherapy, and the use of artificial intelligence in scientific research and statistics.

The conference is a unique opportunity to enhance scientific and research cooperation in the field of tumor treatment, and to support medical personnel from various specialties.
