Nominations for the State Awards of the Academy of Scientific Research 2024 are now open
The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announced the opening of nominations for the State Awards and Academy Awards to honor scientists and distinguished people from Egypt, as follows:
First: Nile Awards
Number of Awards: Two
Value of each award: 500 thousand pounds, in addition to a gold medal.
Fields: Sciences (basic, agricultural, medical, engineering) and advanced technological sciences.
The Academy of Scientific Research reveals the State Appreciation Awards
Second: State Appreciation Awards
Number of Awards: 10 Awards.
Value of each award: 200 thousand pounds, in addition to a gold medal.
Fields: 5 awards for basic sciences, agriculture, medicine, and engineering, and 5 awards for advanced technological sciences.
Third: State Awards for Excellence
Number of Awards: 7 awards.
Value of each award: 100 thousand pounds, in addition to a silver medal.
Fields: Basic sciences, agriculture, medicine, engineering, and three awards for advanced technological sciences.
Academy of Scientific Research Reveals State Encouragement Awards
Fourth: State Incentive Awards
Number of Awards: 40 Awards.
Value of each award: 50 thousand pounds.
Fields: Science and technology in the branches of (mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology, biology, agriculture, medicine, and engineering).
Eligibility requirement: The applicant must not be older than 40 years by December 31, 2024.
Additional Awards:
Pioneer Awards:
Four awards, worth 100 thousand pounds each, in the fields of basic sciences, agriculture, medicine, and engineering. They are awarded to senior scientists with scientific and technological achievements.
Women Awards:
Appreciation Awards: 4 awards worth 50 thousand pounds each for women over 45 years' old
Incentive Awards: 4 awards worth 30 thousand pounds for women under 45 years old, in the fields of agriculture, health, water and energy, and social sciences.

The university's awards office invites those wishing to apply from faculty members in the university's faculties concerned to quickly fulfill the requirements (for the Nile Awards - Appreciation - Excellence - Pioneers - Appreciation Women) before this date with sufficient time to make the required accreditations and nominations.
Nominations are completed through the university's faculties concerned and the accreditations are completed and sent to the General Administration of Scientific Research at the university no later than November 18, 2024.
