The Innovators Support Fund announces the receipt of applications from startups wishing to participate in the 7th BRICS Young Innovators Award, which will be held in Sochi, Russia, in November 2024, with total prizes of up to $50,000. The deadline for receiving applications is October 19, 2024.

The main areas of the competition include:

1. Green technology for the chemical industry

2. Green technology for the food industry

3. Green technology for agricultural industries

4. Artificial intelligence technologies

The award also includes a special nomination entitled "Palladium in Future Technology", which will be awarded separately.

The final evaluation of the young innovators' projects will be held in person during the period from November 25 to 29, 2024 during the BRICS Young Scientists Forum. Project presentations will be limited to 10 minutes per project, and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 projects with the highest scores, with total prizes of $50,000 ($25,000 for first place, $15,000 for second place, and $10,000 for third place).

It is worth noting that the 7th BRICS Young Innovators Prize is held on the sidelines of the BRICS Young Scientists Forum, and aims to showcase the best scientific research results and innovative projects, with a focus on technological innovations that contribute to the development of the scientific and technological branches of the BRICS countries.
