Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Thanaa El-Nubi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University, signed a cooperation protocol with Eng. Ahmed El-Sharkawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kim Tech Company and Factory for Scientific, Laboratory and Chemical Equipment, with the aim of intensifying cooperation in the field of training, employment and exchange of expertise.
This was attended by Prof. Taie Abdel Latif, former advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Naglaa Mohamed Obeid, Professor of Genetics and Director of New Programs at the Faculty, Dr. Heba Nour El-Din, Coordinator of Student Activities, Dr. Manal Mubarak, Head of the Department of Lands, and Dr. Ne’ma Qutb, Assistant Professor of the Department of Genetics.
Dr. Thanaa Al-Nubi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, confirmed that signing the protocol with Kim Tech Company and Factory comes after a period of joint cooperation between the two parties during the past period.
She added that the faculty continues to strive to implement the directives of the state, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Ain Shams University, to implement the objectives of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding linking scientific research outputs to industry.
Eng. Ahmed El-Sharkawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kim Tech Company and Factory for Scientific and Laboratory Equipment, stressed the inevitability of communication between the scientific and research community and industrial institutions with the aim of exchanging expertise and striving to develop the national industry with global technology and expertise on Egyptian soil.
Al-Sharqawi pointed out that the coming period will witness intensified cooperation regarding training, employment and effective participation in the activities of Ain Shams University, expressing his happiness to cooperate with a prestigious university such as Ain Shams University.
