Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, "Dashma" magazine, produced by students of the Faculty of Mass Communication at Ain Shams University, won third place in the category of publications and journalistic works, in the "Al-Ahd" competition held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in its second edition in cooperation with the Moral Affairs Department of the Armed Forces, as part of the celebrations of the 51st anniversary of the glorious October victories.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports organized a celebration at the Armed Forces Engineering Authority House to honor the participants and winners of the competition, in which a large number of media faculties and institutes from various Egyptian universities and academies in various governorates participated, as part of the recommendations of the Media Leadership Project.

The ceremony was attended by the Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Major General Ismail Al-Far, on behalf of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and the Assistant Director of the Moral Affairs Department of the Armed Forces. The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the deans of the faculties and institutes of media from various universities and academies, as well as the honoring of the students participating in the competition.

The competition witnessed the participation of 16 faculties and institutes with a total of 608 participants from faculty staff and media students from various Egyptian universities and academies in various governorates of the Republic, and includes categories: visual and television works, radio and audio works, press and written works, advertising campaigns.
