After achieving three first places in the Tangier International University Theater Festival in Morocco in its 17th session, the theatrical acting team students' mission arrived to the homeland, returning to the city of Tangier in Morocco, after their distinguished participation in the Tangier International University Theater Festival, where they were able to achieve three first places, which are the best actor, shared between the student Ibrahim Al-Moji and the student Ephraim Kamel, and the award for the best group performance and the award for the best scenography for Muhammad Zaki, from among seven countries competing in this session, which are Armenia, France, Cameroon, Morocco, Tunisia, Oman and Egypt.
The President of University, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, expressed his great happiness with this distinguished achievement, congratulating the mission on this great achievement that reflects their talent and diligence.
The University President also thanked the education sector and students for their support and care for the talented, and for overcoming all obstacles they face, which contributed to providing an inspiring environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
These results confirm the importance of cultural and artistic activities in enhancing students' skills and enabling them to express themselves.
Moroccan newspapers praised the distinguished performance of the Ain Shams University theatrical acting team and the show presented, which represented the Arab Republic of Egypt at the festival, and appreciated the efforts made by the team to win three first prizes during the festival.
Ain Shams University participated under the general supervision of the Education and Students Sector, the General Administration of Youth Welfare Office, and the Department of Artistic Activity, where the Ain Shams University team presented the theatrical performance “It Happened by Chance Somewhere” based on the play “The Case of Anwaf” written by Marusha Belata, prepared and executed by Ahmed El Gohary, scenography by Mohamed Zaki, and directed by Khaled Manshi.
