Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Eng. Romany Shukry Abdullah Rizk Allah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DGH Egypt, signed a Memorandum of Understanding that allows the use of the ZBridge portal to develop and employ students.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed El-Araby, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration Sector, Prof. Nevin Assem, Head of the Innovation and Training Sector, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the ASU Career Center.
The agreement aims to enhance research cooperation and knowledge exchange in various fields and knowledge programs, develop relevant platforms for both parties, and employ the expertise and technical and technological capabilities of both parties to support continuous development efforts, while exploring opportunities to support activities of a non-profit nature, and exchange knowledge materials and expertise such as libraries and electronic information, in addition to exchanging knowledge products such as specialized books and publications, and promoting and marketing joint activities through media channels and social media channels of both parties.
As well as cooperation to implement a project to select, develop and employ students through the Z Bridge portal.
According to the agreement, Ain Shams University will use the Z Bridge portal to select 36,000 students over 18 months for free, and continue with the same methodology or be updated digitally, as well as train, develop and employ other groups as an extension of the implementation of this memorandum for free over 18 months.
