The President of Ain Shams University receives a delegation from the University of Primorska, Slovenia, to discuss ways of joint cooperation

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, received a delegation from the University of Primorska, Slovenia, headed by Dr. Irena Lazar, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Chair of the UNESCO Chair, and Mr. Ernest Ženko from the Department of Media to discuss ways of joint cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Mamdouh El-Damaty, Supervisor of the Department of Archaeology and Museums and the Zafaran Museum, and former Minister of Antiquities, Prof. Shahira Samir, Executive Director of the International Relations and Academic Collaboration, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students Office, Dr. Noha El-Rafei, Deputy Director of the Grants and Projects Department, and Dr. Aziz Shaker, Head of the Follow-up Department at the Grants and Projects Department.

During the meeting, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, stressed the university's keenness to enhance cooperation with prestigious universities around the world with the aim of developing scientific research and achieving the university's strategic vision towards globalization.

He also provided a comprehensive overview of the university and its faculties, reviewing its effective role in developing educational curricula to meet the requirements of the renewed labor market. He stressed the university's commitment to enhancing its efforts in the fields of sustainable development, by launching innovative educational initiatives and programs aimed at building the capabilities of graduates and enabling them to face the challenges of the future.

For her part, Dr. Irina Lazar expressed her happiness to visit Ain Shams University and her appreciation for the university's effective role in supporting higher education in Egypt. She pointed out that Primorska University looks forward to strengthening the partnership with Ain Shams University.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the Zafaran Museum, and the delegation members praised the valuable archaeological exhibits and expressed their admiration for the unique and diverse collection that the museum contains.
