A meeting was held for the heads of the centers and special units affiliated with the Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, in the presence of the directors of the centers.

During the meeting, future work plans for the centers and special units affiliated with the sector were discussed, as well as the latest developments in research activities and future plans to develop research work in them, international publication rates, and statistics on the number of new researchers.

Proposals to facilitate international scientific publishing and publication in prestigious scientific journals at the lowest possible cost were also discussed. The meeting also addressed ways to enhance cooperation between the various centers and achieve maximum benefit from them, in addition to reviewing the strategic plans of the centers and how to develop scientific research mechanisms in line with the needs of society and the university's strategic plan.

Prof. Ghada Farouk stressed the need to create a joint communication platform between the university and the Chamber of Industries to identify the needs of companies and the labor market and link them to research work and the plans of the various centers.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Ghada Farouk explained that a periodic meeting of the directors of the centers will be held every three months to review the latest developments.
