As part of the university's interest in providing distinguished activities for students, introducing its students to tourist attractions and Egyptian identity, and knowing the most beautiful places in various governorates to visit the "Treasures of Egypt" tourist, the second group of the Ismailia Festival for students of Ain Shams University's university cities was launched under the directives of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and organized by the Education and Students Sector, with the participation of Aon Choir, one of Ain Shams University's distinguished choirs.
The launch of the second group comes in implementation of the assignment of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen to the Education and Students Sector to organize recreational trips for students of university cities, male and female students, external branches, students with disabilities and the blind, and based on the university's keenness to provide support to all students at different educational levels and encourage them to engage in social, cultural, sports and artistic activities, as the first group was launched last Friday with a number of students exceeding (1000) male and female students.
The Golden Jewel Ismailia Hotel hosted more than (500) male and female students from the university's children from various faculties this week, where students enjoyed the beauty of the natural scenery and the magic of the Suez Canal. The trip program included spending a fun time with the On Choir led by Maestro Mahmoud Saber, who performed a number of songs for nearly two hours amidst great interaction from the audience and a desire from the students to continue the choir for as long as possible, coordinated by the Artistic Activity Department.
These recreational activities are among the activities organized by the Education and Students Sector, led by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Students Sector, and attended by a group of university city supervisors, in order to entertain students, introduce them to different areas, and strengthen the bonds of connection between them, in addition to encouraging physical activity, enjoying nature, and interacting positively with the surrounding community, which receives great interaction from students.
