The Egyptian Knowledge Bank workshop was held at the Faculty of Girls Theater on November 17-18, 2024, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Dr. Hani Shaker, Director of the Digital Library at the University.

The event was attended by a large number of faculty staff and teaching assistants from various sectors of the faculty. A group of specialists lectured over the two days about the various platforms available on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

Mr. Ahmed Atef, a trainer at the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, gave a detailed explanation of how to register and the most important platforms and services available on it.

Dr. Hassan Ashry, representative of the Digital Library Unit at the Supreme Council of Universities, reviewed the most important electronic services available on the unit.

Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed, Director of the Training Unit at Dar Al Manzomah, explained the most important services provided to researchers in the Arabic language. The presentation addressed researchers in the specializations of medicine and surgery through what was presented by Mrs. Amina Ali, the representative of the Inscision Academy platform, and Mr. Muhammad Abdullah discussed artificial intelligence and research.

The second day concluded with a presentation of the elsevier platform by Mr. Islam Nagi, Project Development Manager for the Middle East and Africa.

The attendees expressed the extent of the benefit they gained from the workshop presenters and the quality of the place and organization.
