In the presence of a group of ministers, ambassadors, and presidents of Jordanian universities, and during the activities of the Second International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Achieving Sustainable Development 2024, which was held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from November 20-21, 2024 under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Rajwa bint Ali, and under the supervision of Sharifah Badour bint Abdul-Ilah Al-Rubaian, President of the Conference, Dr. Hiba Salah Hamed, Professor of Fish Physiology at the Department of Zoology – at the Faculty of Girls for Arts, Sciences and Education – at Ain Shams University, was honored by awarding her the Arab Women Pioneer Medal and the Conference Shield.

This honor came in recognition of her excellence in scientific research, and her receipt of many international and local awards and honors, in addition to her prominent role in service and development work to serve the community.

Dr. Heba Salah Hamed has received many prestigious awards, including the Ain Shams University Incentive Award in Advanced Technological Sciences in Agricultural Sciences in 2021, and the Arab Union Award for Sustainable Development and Environment presented by the Arab Union for Voluntary Work under the auspices of the League of Arab States, in addition to many other awards.

Dr. Heba has published nearly 30 research papers in international and local journals, is a member of many prestigious scientific societies, and actively participates in international and local conferences, reflecting her outstanding contributions in the fields of scientific research and serving the academic community.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the University Awards Office, expressed their sincere congratulations to Dr. Heba Salah on this honorable achievement.

They praised the role played by the university in supporting young researchers and appreciating their outstanding scientific efforts, while stressing the importance of encouraging them to produce research that effectively contributes to achieving development and serving the community in various disciplines.
