Within the framework of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, and within the efforts made to enhance the values of social solidarity and charitable work, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University, organized the Fourth Annual Clothing Exhibition, to support the neediest groups and build bridges of giving. This reflects the university's constant interest in enhancing its societal role.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Prof. Rehab Othman, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Rola Milad Labib, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development and the person responsible for organizing the exhibition.
The exhibition came to reflect the faculty’s vision of providing actual support to the neediest families, as it included a variety of winter and summer clothes that were displayed at very symbolic prices, in addition to allocating a large percentage of them for free distribution, which added a deep humanitarian dimension to the initiative.
The exhibition witnessed a wide turnout from students and community members. This event comes as part of a series of initiatives that confirm the university’s commitment to its developmental and humanitarian mission, as it always seeks to promote the principles of social responsibility and present a model to be emulated in civil work.
