A sports day to enhance sportsmanship and cooperation between Ain Shams University and the Military Technical College

Within the initiative of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for human development (a new beginning for building the human being), and under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Major General Prof. Moataz Abu El-Nour, Director of the Military Technical College, the Education and Students Sector at the Sports Activity Department of the General Administration of Youth Welfare Office participated in a sports day in cooperation with the Military Technical College and the Popular and Military Defense Forces with the aim of enhancing the sportsmanship among young people, developing their physical skills, and encouraging them to engage in various sports activities.

         
   
         

The event also aims to build strong relationships between students and military cadres, and promote values ​​such as cooperation, discipline and team spirit, which contributes to preparing a generation capable of assuming responsibilities.

Major General Dr. Khaled Shafie, Assistant Director of the Military Technical College for Education, praised Ain Shams University and its distinguished contributions in the scientific and research fields, pointing out the importance of fruitful cooperation between the university and the Military Technical College.

He stressed that this cooperation contributes to enhancing the spirit of positive competition among students, which motivates them to provide their best in various fields.

He also pointed out that this cooperation contributes to the exchange of experiences and knowledge, which enhances the quality of education and better qualifies students to face future challenges.

During his speech, Colonel Staff Officer Thabet Ahmed Kamal, Head of the Military Sciences Division, stressed the importance of mastering work and diligence in all fields, which is the principle applied in the Armed Forces and its colleges, noting that there is a fusion and unification of thought among members of the Armed Forces, while emphasizing the principle of "Religion is for God and the homeland is for all", which reflects the spirit of cooperation and unity in serving the homeland.

         
   
         

A documentary film about the Military Technical College was also shown, explaining the teaching methods in the college and its various departments, where the spotlight was on the advanced educational programs and training curricula that contribute to qualifying students to raise the level of performance in the military and technical fields.

The film also showed the modern equipment and advanced facilities provided by the college, reflecting its commitment to graduating distinguished cadres capable of facing challenges. Some of the research projects and innovations carried out by students were also reviewed, highlighting the spirit of creativity and innovation in military education.

The competitions were held in football, volleyball, basketball and handball.
