President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, issued a decision appointing Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel-Ghani El-Sayed as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, at Ain Shams University, for a period of three years.

It is worth noting that Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel-Ghani El-Sayed, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry – at Plant Protection Department, held the position of Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Graduate Studies and Research - former, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs - former, Acting Head of the Agricultural Experiments and Research Center - former, and Rapporteur of the Scientific Research Ethics Committee June 2022 - until now.

He obtained a PhD in Agricultural Sciences - Institute of Phytomedicine – at University of Hohenheim Stuttgart - Germany - April 2003.

He also won the Ain Shams University Appreciation Award 2023 in Agricultural Sciences.

He contributed to enriching the Arab library with (9) scientific references in the agricultural field and published many international and regional researches reaching (40) researches in addition to participating in many research and national projects in the agricultural field.
