Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the HSK and HSKK Chinese Proficiency Tests at their various levels were launched yesterday, Sunday, December 8, at the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University, under the supervision of Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, Director of the Confucius Institute.
The tests started at eight o'clock in the morning in the electronic exam halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and 514 students took the tests throughout the day, participating in the written tests for the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth levels, and the oral tests for the beginners, intermediate and advanced levels.
It is worth noting that the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University holds HSK and HSKK exams three times a year in October, December and March, and organizes Chinese language courses for students of all ages in three semesters: spring, fall and summer. The teaching is provided by a distinguished group of Chinese teachers. At the end of the academic year, outstanding students are nominated for scholarships at Chinese universities affiliated with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to study for a semester or an academic year, and scholarships to obtain a master's degree in international Chinese language education.
