As part of Ain Shams University's progress toward institutional accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and the preparation of the university's new strategic plan for 2024-2029, the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center at Ain Shams University organized a training course in collaboration with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The course targeted the directors of university units and centers, as well as the directors of quality assurance units and strategic planning teams at the university's faculties and institutes, focusing on strategic planning.
This initiative comes under the directives of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.
Prof. Meriam Farid Ayad, Director of the Center, explained that the first training program was held on November 27 and 28, 2024, with Prof. Mustafa Abdel-Azim Al-Farmawy, an expert and trainer at the authority, delivering the lectures. The second training program took place on December 7 and 8, 2024, with Prof. Talaat Mohamed Mohamed, an expert and trainer at the authority, as the speaker. The program was held in the hall of Prof. Said Khalil at the Faculty of Education, under the supervision of Prof. Sayed Abdel Fattah, Director of the Training Unit at the center, and the administrative staff at the unit.
In this regard, the center extends its sincere thanks to Prof. Safaa Shehata, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education, for the generous hosting, and to Prof. Mohamed Hamed, Director of the Strategic Planning Unit at the center and Professor at the Faculty of Education, for their warm hospitality, as part of the fruitful cooperation between the center and all the university's faculties and institutes.
