Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the Education and Students Sector - Social Activity Department of the General Administration of Youth Welfare Office- organized the Community Initiatives Competition during the period from 11-12 December. 12 initiatives applied for the competition and 3 initiatives were qualified to participate in the 13th Ebdaa Festival of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Faculty of Mass Communication initiative "Conect" qualified for first place with the participation of students Fatima Al-Zahraa Farag, Mirna Ayman Hamdi, Malak Sharif Abdullah, Menallah Khaled Ahmed, and Mohamed Abu Al-Mahati Jalal, while the Faculty of Law's initiative "Keys to Technology" won second place with the participation of students Abdullah Hassan Tawfiq, Maryam Mahmoud, Nirvana Mohamed, Alaa Hashem, and Rahma Mustafa, While the initiative of the Faculties of Agriculture, Mass Communication, and Girls "Protect Homeless Children" won third place with the participation of students Marwan Mohamed Abdel Nabi, Nora Magdy Fathy, and Amina Attia Yahya. This came in the presence of committee member Prof. Sally Mahmoud Sami, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, at the Faculty of Arts.
