Ain Shams University delegation participates in the opening session of the 13th Arab-African Youth Forum

The activities of the 13th Arab-African Youth Forum kicked off yesterday evening at Fawzy Fawzy Theater in Aswan, which is held by the Arab Union for Youth and Environment. Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, is participating in the 13th Arab Environmental Youth Forum under the title "Artificial Intelligence and its Role in Sustainable Development." Which is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the participation of more than 250 students from Egyptian, Arab and African universities participating in the conference organized by the Arab Union for Youth and Environment in the presence of a number of environmental experts and environmental media professionals, and its activities are scheduled to be held in the cities of Aswan and Luxor from December 13 to 19.

         
   
         

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, had previously stressed in his meeting with the university delegation the importance of the university’s participation in this important forum that brings together an elite group of Arab and African youth to discuss a very important issue, which is “Artificial Intelligence and its Role in Sustainable Development.”

Adding that Ain Shams University, realizing the importance of modern technology, believes in the role of youth as a primary driver of change and development, pointing out that artificial intelligence today has become pivotal in various development fields, so we need to enable our youth to possess the skills of the era, and understand the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence.

During her opening speech, Dr. Buthaina Al-Hajji, the head of the forum, pointed out that the 13th Arab-African Youth Forum is one of a series of forums that the union continues to hold annually. She explained that the activities began in Aswan and will conclude in Luxor, where they will witness general sessions and workshops, in addition to training courses on these issues, as well as awareness campaigns for youth, with the organization of a tourist program for youth delegations to visit archaeological sites and tourist attractions.

         
     
         

Ain Shams University's participation comes under the administrative supervision and coordination of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for the Education and Students Sector - Department of Families and Student Unions in the General Administration of Youth Welfare Office.
