The President of Ain Shams University follows up on exams at university faculties

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, followed up on the progress of the examination process for the first semester of the academic year 2024-2025, in the university’s faculties, where His Excellency was reassured about the progress of the examinations, within the framework of procedures and an appropriate and safe environment for students to perform regular and electronic exams, and according to the schedules of each faculty, within the framework of the university’s keenness to ensure that the educational process proceeds according to the rules and time map for the academic year 2024/2025

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, explained that all logistical arrangements for organizing the first semester exams have been completed, in accordance with what was done in the meetings of the Education Sector and Students Council, starting with reviewing and preparing the exam halls and control rooms and setting exam schedules, directing the need to adhere to the specifications of the exam paper. His Excellency also stressed that the university is keen to provide an appropriate environment for students to take the exams, while providing all the capabilities for the regularity of exam work in the various faculties of the university.

The University President also assigned Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Students, to follow up on the needs of the faculties and ensure the progress of the examination process. During his tour, His Excellency stressed the need to adhere to the organizational procedures for examination work, and to take all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of examination work and to confront any negligence, shortcomings, or actions that would disrupt the examination process, with all severity, in accordance with the provisions of the Universities Organization Law and its executive regulations.

In this context, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen praised the smooth running of the examination process and the availability of a suitable atmosphere for students to take the exams, stressing the completion of correction work in parallel with the examination process to quickly announce the results.

The medical centers in the faculties and university dormitories have been directed to work at full strength during the entire period designated for the exams to ensure the safe running of the exams, and to provide additional emergency medical teams to be present throughout the examination period for any emergency reason in faculties with high student density.

It is worth noting that the examinations are conducted regularly for approximately 200,000 male and female students, taking into account all facilities for our children with special needs.
