Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, received a high-level delegation from the Chinese company Geely.

During the meeting, ways of strategic cooperation between the two sides were discussed, and several points were agreed upon, including training students of the Faculty of Engineering in the specializations available in the company's factories, benefiting from the educational content on the company's electronic platforms, providing scholarships for Egyptian students for up to an academic year in China, in addition to continuing consultations to develop a framework for a strategic agreement for cooperation between the university and the company.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students and Mobility Office, and Prof. Kamal Obeid, Director of the International Cooperation Department.
