The Qatfa project team from Ain Shams University received EGP 3 million in funding in the Gen Z competition.
This came in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, who announced the winning teams and pledged to fund each project with EGP 3 million.
The Qatfa project is a natural material that extends the shelf life of fruits and vegetables, and the team was able to convince the jury with the phrase "Egypt really needs this project."
